Personnel Management Solutions is recruiting an experienced
Litigation Legal Assistant
for an established law firm. This opportunity offers a
hybrid work schedule
and an
annual salary of $50,000–$75,000, depending on experience.
If you enjoy managing the details that keep litigation moving—from preparing court filings to coordinating deadlines and discovery—this position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution supporting litigation attorneys and paralegals.
What You’ll Do
Prepare, proofread, and format correspondence, briefs, pleadings, and other legal documents.
File documents in state and federal courts, both electronically and traditionally.
Generate tables of contents and tables of authorities.
Manage attorney calendars, court deadlines, depositions, meetings, and travel arrangements.
Track discovery responses, case updates, and filing requirements.
Open, organize, and maintain electronic case files.
Prepare and submit attorney expense reimbursements.
Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and colleagues.
Handle confidential information with discretion.
What You Bring
At least five years of litigation legal support experience.
Working knowledge of civil procedure, discovery, court processes, and state and federal e-filing.
Strong document preparation, proofreading, grammar, and editing skills.
Excellent organization and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
Sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
The ability to learn new technology and systems quickly.
Preferred Experience
Appellate court filings.
Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Copilot.
Adobe Professional.
SurePoint and Concur.
